The Leader in Me” Process Launch

Event: “The Leader in Me” Process Launch

Date: November 11, 2016

After great anticipation, Raiser hosted the “Leader in Me” process launch at Fairmont The Norfolk on November 11, 2016. Directors and heads of over 58 schools from across the country were in attendance representing schools such as St. Andrews Turi, Rosslyn Academy, Kiota School, Aga Khan Academy, Mpesa Foundation Academy, The Banda School, Mutongoni Academy, Strathmore School, and many others. Transformational principles from “The Leader in Me” enabled participants to gain a greater understanding of the process of instilling leadership-oriented attitudes and life skills in students, as well as creating environments conducive to their growth as self-sufficient, critically-thinking, driven, and empathetic individuals.

Some thoughts from those who attended:

“We need to change the education perception from not only producing students to seek jobs but graduates with leadership and problem-solving skills in the real world.”
“I believe that it is a wonderful inclusion to schools. It would be interesting to see it in effect in the Kenyan setting.”
“We need a paradigm shift in our country and the Leader in Me would be a great start.”
